Here’s what I was doing this afternoon:-

I’m teaching a new class to my friends and their teenage daughters. It’s actually great. Good to find something that mothers and daughters can do together (that doesn’t involve any shops). I’m helping them all to stretch. One of my friends is running the marathon so I said I’d help her and now look how many have come along?

We’re using an old sports hall. It’s cold and unappealing. My 8 year old is normally either being really annoying by kicking a ball against the wall really loudly or he’s attempting to join in. Last week he sat at the front with his legs crossed and said “OMMM” very loudly followed by “MUM CAN YOU HURRY UP I’M REALLY HUNGRY’.

It is not easy to work under such conditions but I got a text from a friend today saying that it was making a difference and that makes it all seem worthwhile.

Oh, that is such a fab picture… and I love the fact that your little one is there somewhere… well done for doing this. Wish I lived nearby and would plant my bottom next to all of those in the pic and get fit too…
