Had a great day yesterday albeit under a little more security than NYC is used to. We went and collected our press passes and checked out a few exhibitions:-

At the Museum of Modern Art is an exhibition of 9/11 and architecture.

Twin tower lights:-

Plus we saw some wonderful Monet’s and Lucien Freud etchings for her art which I’ll upload later.

You can see how the One World Trade Center is growing – 2.5 million square feet of commercial space of which Conde Nast has alread taken 1 million of it. Got a good photo of it with the Statue of Liberty to the right:-

Spotted Jeanne Marine in the street – DOES THAT MEAN BOB GELDOF IS HERE???? Yippee.

Today is Saturday. We’re off to a nail bar and an American Diner for brunch.

Awesome stuff. Was there last year and we had no problem getting up the Empire state building either! If you want some good food, Breeze is a lovely french-thai fusion place with good prices & it is just on 9th between 45th and 46th st. The fact that I still remember it says a lot 🙂 http://www.breezenyc.com/

    Have fun! 🙂
