Thanks for all your good luck wishes….it was better than I thought because we stuck to the agreed script and only talked about the children. We both remained calm and whilst I obviously got all the blame for weight issues, attitude issues and other general stuff – I can cope with that because as a friend pointed it out it means that I can take the blame for all their good bits too!!
We didn’t discuss changes in schools which was a good thing. He has lots of ideas for moving them in the future it seems, but I can’t let any of that worry me for now…..”let sleeping dogs lie” for the moment…
Hopefully as the kids get older they will be able to have more of a say in where they want to be and what they want to do and we must try and avoid fighting over them. It’s about what they want and what is best for them.
Financial meeting arranged for some time soon. That should be fun too.
