It was my 7 year old’s turn to lay the table tonight. Do you think I should be worried about his love affair with tomato ketchup?

His random conversation during our meal included:

“I don’t want to be in Rock Choir anymore, it’s really boring and it wastes all my play time”.

“Don’t you think £400 is really cheap for an aeroplane”? “Yes”, I say, “it is, who’s selling one for £400?”. “No one. I just was thinking that if someone was selling one for £400 it would be really cheap”.

“Life is so not fair – why is it that sweets are bad for you and vegetables are good for you? – why can’t it be the other way around?”

“Listen to this song, mum, it’s called “Biscuit Case, by Green Day, it’s so cool”.

I’m MORE worried about the fact that you have 3 pretty much near empty ketchups clogging up your cupboard – let alone the dodgy Macdonald’s one!!

(I thought I was the one with the clutter problem…!)

I’m with him on the sweets / vegetables – so not fair! I shouldn’t worry about the ketchup though, it’s not too bad for you is it?
