Thank you to the lovely people who sent me a DVD to review – ordinarily I’d have turned it down because my children are too old, but as my lovely little goddaughter is spending more time at my house than usual for various reasons, I accepted the offering on her behalf.
Room on the Broom review
Dictated My Goddaughter (aged 5) typed by her mother (aged younger than me).
I really really liked watching Room on the Broom. I love the pictures because they are very cartoonish and colourful but very clever and good. I liked the voices of the witch and the dog and I thought the dragon was a bit scary but not too scary. My favourite characters are the witch, the dog, the cat and the frog.
My favourite bit is when they scare the dragon away and save the witch and all the animals are muddy and dirty but the witch doesn’t get eaten which is good.
I think this is a brilliant film because it shows that you should be nice to each other and look after your friends.
