I have just come back from a HUGELY important meeting at my teenage son’s school with several important members of staff. I was attempting to talk knowledgeably about the stretching and strengthening programme they want me to do with my son’s rugby team this year.

We were also discussing plans to raise money for an African school when they go on their rugby tour next summer.

I have just got home. The children are still laughing. They have just pointed out that I spent the whole meeting talking to all those important people with a sugar puff stuck to the sleeve of my jacket.

This was not the image I was hoping to portray.

Come on, everyone knows that sugar puffs are the new accessory for successful professionals.
