I went out for a friend’s birthday drinks last night. Just a group of lovely friends in the pub. We had a great time but Forgot To Eat. Consequently, as we spilled out of the pub at 11pm it seemed like a brilliant idea to go back to her house and drink more wine and dance about.
She has called me this morning. We both have headaches. I can’t think why. She read me what her children wrote on Facebook at about midnight last night:-
Daughter to son: Is it my imagination or can I hear somebody playing a tambourine?
Son to daughter: Nope not your imagination. I can definitely hear a tambourine downstairs.
Bit later:
Son to daughter: It’s mum playing the tambourine and now I can hear her singing as well.
Daughter to son: LOL
Well, that’s not very impressive is it? Waking sleeping children up with silly drunken behaviour. I too was playing the tambourine for some reason. With a wrist protector. I just don’t know why. But it was fun at the time.

February 25, 2011Hilarious!
My daughter is only 7 and I’m just waiting for the day that I start to really embarrass her. 🙂
P.S. Drink lots of water and take a couple of Ibruprofen, I find that helps a lot.

February 25, 2011Have kids entirely lost the art of actually talking to each other..why must they social network whilst sat in the same room…probably the same reason that mums get drunk and play the tambourine!
