Our huge family holiday to Menorca was a big success. My brother was laughing about the fact that I wasn’t going to be able to blog about the experience because they would all read it so I couldn’t be rude and/or honest.
However, the fact of the matter is that of course we all no doubt had our complaints here and there about who did or said what, BUT that is family for you. Family is family and that is it in my opinion. None of us were forced to go, we weren’t even paid for. We chose to go and be together and watching my children play with their four year old cousin was amazing. I am sure my parents must have loved seeing all their grandchildren and children together, enjoying themselves. We are so very lucky.
I have taken a ridiculous number of photos that I need to sift through. That will take time. For now, here is the last photograph that I took at the airport. The children all wanted to show off their tanned feet and were all arguing about who had a better tan. But look at that circle of 11 feet (although don’t look at mine – it’s the one with the bunion) – what a circle of life it is…..
