I am now sitting in a library in Scotland. I COULDN’T BLOG IN FRANCE! The wireless router wasn’t working. I have been having major withdrawal symptoms. I had a really lovely (childfree) time with my friends in France. It was mostly very peaceful and serene except for one day when we went to St Tropez or “Strop-ez” as my daughter thought it was pronounced. We had lunch at a very chic beach club and watched how the beautiful people live AND I HAVE A FANTASTIC PHOTO TO SHOW YOU, but you’ll have to wait until I’m back in London. Sorry. No way to upload my photos here.
I arrived in Scotland yesterday, directly from Nice. I have gone from a 38C heatwave to cold, wet and windy – quite a contrast.
We are going to the Edinburgh Festival tomorrow I think and hopefully to see the Tracey Emin Restrospective. Not sure yet, but should be able to update you on Monday.
