Spent a lovely evening with my gorgeous daughter, sister in law and niece last night at the Oxo Tower. A beautiful evening, sitting out on the terrace overlooking the spectacular views of the river Thames, St Paul’s Cathedral, sparkly lights and bridges and we reminded ourselves about how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful city.
Even more lucky to spend time with such lovely, intelligent bright young things and catch up on all their news. That of course is when I’m not thinking how much I would rather not have to sit quite so close to two such perfect beings – far too young and beautiful and they make me feel old. The worst bit was when they were killing themselves laughing whilst attempting to successfully take a decent picture of the two oldies together. It could not be done frankly.
So here instead, are the Instagram photos I took of the evening (I am loving Instagram these days)….
The perfect view of our surroundings – where somehow the boats look a little like the Loch Ness Monster:-
and here is the perfect view of our company:-
and the not so perfect view of their company – loving the fact that it looks like she is wearing a little party hat made up of St Paul’s Cathedral on her head!:-
