It’s all happening this week with future plans for my children. Youngest has been accepted into the school of his choice and oldest got an offer yesterday for the university he wants to go to. All he has to do now is make the grades. YIPPEE. It means we might have managed to skip past the dreaded “Gap Year” (which I think I shall now take on his behalf).

I’m very happy for him….and marginally surprised. He’s going to be doing Physiology – which at the time seemed like the next best option to medicine if you suddenly decide at the 11th hour that medicine isn’t going to do it for you. So the night before last, I suggested he print off the details of the course and do a bit of reading around the subject.

“What’s Physiology again?” he asked me, which left me marginally concerned about his upcoming interview.

How he managed to bluff that one I’ll never know, but who am I to question?

Guess that’s life. We all do it all the time, I suspect – or is it just me?

    That is brilliant news.
I remember getting acceptance my letter last year at the ripe old age of **** and being ever so excited.
Being able to bluff is an excellent skill to have!!!
