I have heard from several of MY friends that have been invited to my X husband’s wedding that the glossy, proper, formal invitations (like the ones we had at our wedding) have been sent out.
I am feeling a little strange about this.
I haven’t dealt with this sort of thing before. Slightly bigger than not being invited to somebody’s party and feeling left out. Slightly need to try and be a little more grown up about MY friends who may or may not be accepting the wedding invite.
Do you think it would be inappropriate to just turn up? Maybe wearing a bridesmaid’s dress and carrying a posy and then I might not get noticed; I could just follow the bride and groom down the aisle next to my daughter.
Builder Bloke is thinking about doing the same thing….

May 22, 2010I’m sure BB would look lovely in a mauve bridesmaid’s dress, with puff sleeves

May 22, 2010its bad enough my daughter living with him and thenmy son going to visit, and l make such light of it all…cos we are al so civilised, and the kids say its o affected them at all, all been so smooth…YEAH ON YOUR RADAR!!! cos l’ve maintained the status quo, but not having seen Larry since before l moved out, 28 feb…l am at a loss about anything than that which l deal with day to day….anything else makes stomach crunch and me feel quite ill… if l heard he had a friend l think l would vomit, worse if l had one…but it will have to happen…l’m ot dead yet in that department, far from it….in need, indeed…

May 23, 2010Eeeek that is a tricky one – I admire you for making it sound so funny. Shew. Yeah Miranda is right Builder Bloke would look good in a bridesmaid frock. Perhaps you could both go together undercover dressed up like that
