HAPPY 02/02/2020 DAY! A palindrome of a day that won’t be repeated for another thousand years! Last one was 900 years ago on the 11/11/1111. Today is also the 33rd day of the year with 333 days left to go! So despite having nothing to say on this rather grey Sunday evening, I wanted to acknowledge the enormity of our specially numbered day.

So despite being just out of the EU, having lost our first game of rugby to the French today and all holding our breath on public transport and in hospitals as we nervously watch the progress of the coronavirus we should acknowledge the day. Oh and there was a shooting of a knife maniac in Streatham that occurred 20 minutes after my son (with his arm in a sling) walked down that same high street this afternoon – I seriously hope no one was badly injured.

So in an attempt to cheer things up I’m doing the rest of the blog post in palindromes:-

Don’t nod.

Dad.

I did, did I?

Mum.

Step on no pets.

Anna.

Was it a cat I saw?

Hannah?

Wow.

Poop.

No lemon, no melon.

Madam.

Yo, banana boy!

That’s all I’m going to say on the matter, except maybe POOP again.

Because it makes no sense.

Same as the world right now.
