Decorations down? All nearly back to normal? Still got brandy butter in your fridge? (tempting to spoon it out of container now and not bother with a mouldy mince pie).

Love this idea – if my tree didn’t look so shit every year I might consider this as a good way to pack it all up and store away for the year:-

I have one child back at school today, dental appointments done, new items of clothing for school bought and the other child is back tomorrow. Son then back off to uni for a week of football training and revision and I’m back to work. Where did all that time go? Whizzed by in a blur. Lets hope the whole rest of the year doesn’t do the same.

    Happy New Year to you!!
I’ve been trying to catch up on your blog but still have a lot to get through, due to my long absence from this sort of thing!! It does finally feel as if things are back to “normal” (whatever that is), and I’m really missing my Christmas lights, although we did not even bother with a tree this year. (Love the wrapped tree idea)!! I was sad to read your earlier post, about 6 January being some sort of milestone in new-year divorces – very sad, and I do feel for any families affected by yesterday’s horrible date!
Wishing you a truly wonderful 2014, from over here!!

Happy new year. I always think life seems to whizz by now. It all seemed so much slower when I was younger. That tree pic is great btw!
