BEST WIND TUNNEL IN THE WORLD

During my recent trip to Costa Brava we went indoor skydiving which is way more fun than I thought it would be. Whilst the Windoor Realfly Empuriabrava wind tunnel in Girona is in my opinion, most definitely the best wind tunnel in the world – I am not yet an expert so don’t take my word for it – in fact to be honest it’s the only wind tunnel I have been to so far. I have heard that it’s the biggest in Europe, but again, I can’t confirm that this is true. But fear not, I am most definitely planning to become an expert – if I had known that this is where all the hot guys in the world hang out I would have taken up lounging around in wind tunnels years ago. WHY DIDN’T ANYBODY TELL ME?? Sadly it’s all a little bit too late for me now, but one of the other mums on the trip and I have decided to start another blog called “Wind tunnels I have Loved” and that way we have an excuse to check out wind tunnels and hot guys in one fell swoop (which is what I was literally doing in the wind tunnel in front of all the hot guys unfortunately).

We were all a little nervous on arrival – I’d never done anything like it before. There is something about being in a group though that gets you through it. We all had to get ready together and sit in the little anti-chamber together and cheer and clap everyone as they took their turns and somehow it just wasn’t the time to bottle out.

At this point I hadn’t realised that we were in the beginners suits of shame rather than looking like I will next time I go – like these gorgeous women who clearly knew what they were doing:-

The waiting bit was the scariest almost – the noise was incredible – we were all wearing earplugs so it’s all a little disconcerting – throwing yourself into the wind through the door was also challenging, but with the help of our trusty instructor I braved it:-
