My 13 year old daughter has spent the last 6 weeks announcing the daily countdown to her birthday. Today she sent both me and her dad an email. I’ve left all the spelling mistakes and well, she’s always been pretty optimistic:-
“As your both aware its your favourite childs birthday soon. and i have been thinking long and hard about what to put on my birthday list. so i will give a short list on what you could buy me to give you a bit more ideas, and then i will inform you soon on what i do definitly want. i hope you have fun reasign my list.

October 8, 2009Ambitious list! As for the cartilage piercing, I have one too. She's right they aren't noticeable (it took my father a week to notice that I'd had it done!). But what no-one tells you is that you'll never sleep on that side of your head when you have the piercing in, it's just too uncomfortable and it takes quite some time to heal.
