A short but sweet review of a great night out at Richmond Theatre seeing Calamity Jane…
If you a want a night out which will take you out of yourself, delight, tickle and leave you with a great big smile on your face then you need to get down to the Richmond Theatre and buy, beg or steal a ticket to see Jodie Prenger as Calamity Jane. Quite simply she is a force of nature. She can sing, dance, act, crack jokes (and whips “whipcrackaway”) as well as successfully managing to convey every emotion from A to Z.
Supported by a very strong cast – Tom Lister as Wild Bill Hickok is perfect as the tall man in black – this is a production that deserves a long West End run.
