Anyone doing anything interesting during half term? I have a bit of a nightmare – two children, two different holidays and just as I was wondering how to manage it a friend came up with the most amazing idea….without going in to lots of detail – I have the opportunity to question whether somewhere else other than Zambia is indeed the world’s last great wilderness – just a different sort – somewhere a lot more lush and tropical but still pretty unexplored and remote.

and all sorts of amazing other things like snakes and monkeys and tree frogs and rainforest and beaches and, and, and…..
But I really don’t know what to expect. Sadly, I can’t take both children – we are going on a voyage of discovery in terms of what teenagers like to do when they’re on their holidays so my daughter is coming with me, my son has school – I will try and take him somewhere he would like to go another time.
Anybody else ever been to Sarawak? I went there 20 years ago and did a diving course – I think I was mostly in Sabah though.
I CAN’T WAIT. Will try and blog and send photos and updates but not sure whether there is a signal out there in the jungle.
