I feel so sorry for her – such a public display for all to see – do those photographers literally sit there year after year waiting for something dramatic like that to happen? For him to have put his hand around her throat in such a public location is astonishing – what does it mean he is like behind closed doors?
I realise this is there own private business but what I hadn’t realised was what a good position she will be in if she does get divorced – the leading divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton is her cousin!
It’s so sad for her that after finding happiness since her husband John Diamond (who wrote an amazing book about his battle with throat cancer) it all seems to have gone wrong. Although at least she has her career….
Interesting to note then that two of Britain’s leading celebrity divorce lawyers met for a two-hour power lunch on Friday – at Scott’s, the celebrity restaurant where the incident happened. Raymond Tooth, who acted for Saatchi’s second wife Kay during her bitter divorce battle in 2001 and Fiona Shackleton.
