Andrea Collins Smith is an extraordinary woman as I have said before. She is now in a hospice and her cancer seems to be growing at an alarming rate. She is in pain. She has decided not to have anymore chemotherapy. She said in one of her posts that she is not an optimist and never has been.

June 21, 2008When people ask what I want for my children I always say that they be able to make sound, reasoned decisions as they grow. If they do that, they’ll be fine. I don’t even have to agree with all of them, as long as they can explain them.
