My son is in a rugby tournament and they won a major game last night against a church school, who haven’t lost a game for the last 100 years (approx). He told me that the team knelt down and recited the lords prayer before the start of the match – it’s hardly the intimidating hakka (sp?) is it? He texted me after the game “we f*cking won!!”. I was wondering initially if the text was meant for a friend rather than for his mum, but then thought, oh bollocks to the swearing..how lovely that he felt he wanted to let me know. I nearly texted back “f*cking gr8”. But thought the better of it.
I, at the time was having a meeting with the Head of Sport at his school. The stretching programme I am doing with them is certainly making a difference and they want me to start working with some of the other sports they offer. Very exciting.
