HAPPY SPRING!!
Gorgeous day. Amazing weekend with the marathon and all that. I’m feeling a little bit like I want to be a mother hen but can’t be because my little brood are too old for me to stick under my wing and they just keep wandering off AND IT’S REALLY ANNOYING!
My HUGE oldest son is here, there and everywhere, my daughter is with my mother revising and my youngest is finding his feet and demanding his independence – literally – he’s obsessed with new trainers on a regular basis and now says thanks to his new purchase (that he saved up for himself) that he’s walking on marshmallows in his new Nike Huaraches:-
I was working today but had a meeting with a TOP blogger that my daughter loves at lunchtime and we went to the Daylesford Farm House and Cafe in Notting Hill:-
Where we sat in the sunshine and enjoyed this:-
Here I am with Rosie, who has a HUGE blog called “The Londoner” that literally makes you drool with longing and I had to request a photo to show my daughter who loves her blog: www.thelondoner.me and my children take the piss out of me because I have complete blog envy because her life and her photos are amazing:-
Then on the way back to the office we found ourselves in the same carriage as a protest against the “Women Who Eat On Tubes” whereby all of a sudden the entire carriage was having a picnic and eating bananas – the strangest thing ever:-
Then I went to work for the afternoon and now I’m off to dinner with two out of three of my children….because the oldest one is disappearing AGAIN tomorrow to stay with his girlfriend.
I can’t cope.

Expat Mum
April 15, 2014It is weird when they’re off all over the place. We were in the Caribbean last week and eldest daughter was in Rome and Athens. it almost didn’t seem right that we should be so far apart, but thanks to texting – we were kept in constant touch with what she was doing, drinking, eating and seeing. Dying to see the next phone bill! NOT.
