Here is a slightly odd picture of my gorgeous daughter wearing her new tutu. I’m desperate to try it on, but am afraid that it will either get stuck on my bottom and I’ll get caught looking like incredibly sad elephant wearing small item that leaves nothing to the imagination, or it will snap, or even worse that it won’t get stuck because it will only fit on one leg. She’s got yet another school disco tonight. I really pity the poor boys. If it was anything like last time there will be a gaggle of girls wearing fluorescent tutu’s (better than PJ’s) and several small boys pinned up against a nearby wall looking terrified.

My daughter has recently been reluctantly elevated to ultra-cool status owing to her older brother’s newly found fame as a DJ. She and some of her friends at other schools are being constantly asked by the girls in the year above if its ACTUALLY true that they know my son….admittedly he’s quite good looking (but I’m his mother) however, I don’t think any of us can quite believe the fuss.

Oh to be young.

How lovely to be so young and to be having such fun. Good for them.
I’d love to wear a Tutu too! 🙂

PS I remember reading somewhere that Joanne Woodward went from being “Paul Newman’s wife” to “Scott Newman’s mother”! And she’s a film star.. M 🙂
